I'd highly recommend a motion controller NOT made in China.
Hello I'm planning to purchase a Chinese router and am considering upgrading to an Ethernet interface - they offer this controller - the XHC. Does anyone have any experience with it? Please advise. Many thanks!

The vast majority of chinese motion controllers don't work properly with all functions of Mach3.
And as mentioned, you'll get much better support from just about every other motion controller manufacturer.

Good point, good support would be critical - especially for a greenhorn - I'm now thinking of ordering the machine with their standard controller and then upgrading to a US made card after learning the system? Thanks for the input!
im using one had initial comunication dramas, and thee had to remake a driver, took a week or 2, but now it working i like it, the 24v inputs suck tho.
Teddyo,
Do yourself a huge favor and buy a higher quality USA made Ethernet controller. There are a couple, the Ethernet Smooth Stepper is what I have and it is well supported and lots of users on the zone. There are a few others if you want to run Mach3/Mach4 just check there site for those that are certified with drivers. Avoid a huge headache on many things that just don't work, as others pointed out many things on the Chinese clones just don't work.
