RFQ? Can someone offer casting service?

I would like to make my own wax patterns, and am looking for someone that can make shells, burn out the wax, and do the casting. I would like the parts cast in aluminum, and they would be up to 8 lb parts.

I would also be interested in much larger parts if you have the capabilities. I could provide patterns for someone if they are able to make sand molds and pour the parts.

NO finish machining is required, I can do that work.

Is anyone interested in performing these tasks for pay? Please PM me, or (preferred) e-mail me at mike(at)mcpii(dot)com, if you are interested in discussing your capabilities and potential pricing

76 views and no offers? What's wrong with the request?

If needed I can do the shells myself, and would just need them poured. Anyone interested in just melting some aluminum and pouring it out, for cash?

Try some more details....grade of metal heat treatment etc....Personally I find repetition boring.....some companies thrive and profit on it.

Where are you located? That is probably quite relevant information for the type of work you want done. Also you might have better luck in the RFQ forum.

I am in Indianapolis, but I can send the parts anywhere, they are not that large, and a fixed price USPS box will handle it for cheap. I have posted in the RFQ section as well.

I am looking for ~5 parts per order max, not a "production" volume - that is the problem, as production house setup costs dwarf the casting cost, making it non-viable...

Rimer is good have used them before. Cost shouldn't be to bad if you supply them the wax part. If you want to make your ceramic mold and bake it Dillon Pattern in Anderson would pour it for you I think.
