Perhaps the "polarity" of your X axis is backwards?
I wanted to test out my machine which I just finished and I used DeskEngrave to output Gcode for TurboCNC of my name. "Bob" Well it cut nicely in terms of the B's etc...but it was mirrored? Does anyone know what setting I have wrong for it to cut out backwards?
Thanks,
Bob

First you get good, then you get fast. Then grouchiness sets in.
(Note: The opinions expressed in this post are my own and are not necessarily those of CNCzone and its management)
That's what I would've said, but in a previous thread he says he cut a ruler from G-code, and it came out "right on the money".
I cant think what else would cause this other than motor direction being reversed.
Regards Terry.....
I think I have the Y axis backwards...in other words, when it is spinning clockwise, TurboCNC is going in a negative mode. I am going to fiddle more with the setup and see if I can't straighten it out.
Thanks for you help!
Mr Bean: Its working great though...its nice to see a machine you labored over for months all of sudden work!!
