Evnin all! Not posted before, bought an X3 with CNCTeknix controller a while back an have been having teething troubles - nothing unusual in that I'll bet! Simple questions I have a DXF file imported into DeskCNC that has a boundary with three circles inside it. On import it is centred on the origin of the grid. I move it to the origin and rotate it to a more sensible orientation. Why can I not then change the machining order, and what does the additional number beside the machining sequence number mean? And How do I set the tool commencement position to be the origin of the grid rather than a point on the last machined entity? THis is so that when I put a block of aluminium on the bed to commence machining I just position the tool at the bottom left corner of the block, and the tool will simply commence from there tather than racing off somewhere else to start machining. I hope I have explained myself fully - DXF file attached if it will help! |
