I installed deskcnc on a windows XP computer, and when I click on the icon to launch the program nothing happens. I hit the ctrl+ alt+del and see that deskcnc program is using 98% CPU and the program still does not launch. What could be wrong, the installation went fine.

| Paul, That is very strange, I have never heard of that before. All I can suggest is that you try uninstalling it and do a fresh install, make sure you have nothing else open during install. You could try to do a shutdown and restart before running it for the first time. Other than that I will look into the possible cause for you. This is the first ever time this problem has surfaced so I'm sure there is a simple problem. If it still happens after a re-install I will send you a fresh install version tried and tested on our XP systems.

| No luck, I have uninstalled it etc etc and it will not run on XP. I tried it on a win 2000 and no problem. FWIW the Deskam works on XP.
