Controller Not Found...1

Help...
I just hooked up my IMService controller to my Sherline mill. (model 3400) I am running DeskCNC version
2.1.1.90

I have the Rs-232 hooked up to the controller and my computer.
My Com 1 port.

Pentium 4 3.06
1.00 GB of Ram
Running windows XP version 2002 service pack 2

I keep getting "controller not detected ...1

Anyone have any ideas?
I tried the com port 2, with same message!

Is there a driver I have to load?

I had to go into the Machine setup and check the 2nd generation card. Which I have and it is detecting my controller.

I read the past post! GREAT HELP!
