I just purchased a length of 25mm THK rail off of the big auction house. I had some frustration in bidding on the auctions from this seller as you were required to have a linked PP account. I missed out on the new rails so I bid on the used ones, in the description on the rails it said they were tarnished but not pitted. After the auction I started to e-mail back and forth with the seller and I asked about the tarnish and specifically to make sure there was no rust. Well the seller then admitted there was light surface rust... Can these rails have rust without pitting to some extent? I have not paid for the auction yet what do you think I should do?  Thanks for the opinions  |
