Misumi USA have just announced that all shipments UPS to Canada will be brokerage and duties Paid at no charge.

but, they wouldn't tell me what shipping cost via UPS ground would be (I stopped when it asked for a CC number). Is it reasonable?

You can go to the UPS site and plug in the origin and destination points to find out the approximate charges, bases on estimated weight and size.
I usually pay by CC for my orders.
I haven't found them too unreasonable for freight.

They have a great catalog and selection but their online shopping
is an exercise in frustration. You can never get a price without
e-mailing or calling them. Thats like making a 350 lb. person run
200 meters hurdle.

A couple of points.
Nice incentive that it is now free, although the $5.95 that is was before was already great. Now they are on par with McMaster.

Japr - you can't go by the UPS shipping price for Canada freight. This system works by them sending Canadian orders to the border/broker by the truckload and having the whole load brokered across. Then they break it down and ship the individual package.

If you need shipping priced you have to submit your order as a RFQ. They usually get back fairly quickly.
