    Howdy from MB

Howdy to all you cdn's on here. I am from rural MB and have an interest in replica models. Mainly scratch building patterns and resin casting them to make others.
I am currently learning about spincasting resin in vulcanized silicone molds.

Since joining and lurking for a long time now I figured I should throw up a note to see if any others are from MB.

I would like to get into a CNC router table some day along with a CNC mill for machining wax patterns (for lost wax investment casting). Even finding someone with the equipment to do custom work would be nice.

Back out to enjoy this one day of summer.

    Kent

Hey. I'm from rural MB as well and I'm very interested in building a cnc machine, and have most of the parts - just need the time!

Another Manitoban here. Nothing CNC yet, just a mini-lathe and mini-mill.

Thumbs up A newbie from B.C.

    Hi to all out there,
I am a 65 yr old kid that, like my cat, am curious about things all the time. I have been reading and reading on the forums only to be more interested every day. You people are incredible! You have built some really fantastic CNC machines out of ordinary materials! I am totally impressed with this site and all who contribute. I feel guilty, as I have nothing to contribute in return. I can see myself building a CNC Router system this winter though. Maybe then I will be of some use to someone else. Until then I will keep reading your progress, and be happy to be a part of it.
