Servos : to keep or sell ?

    Hi guys !

I have a dilemma on my hands.
Question is what would you do ?
A few years ago I got this ideea to build a CNC router that could cut some parts for my projects. So I got myself three nice servo motors along with the servo controllers. So I start working slowly on the project, but not consistent.Intent was to use Mach 3.
I still want to built my CNC router/sheet metal cutter, but I don't have the time for now.
Would you keep the unfinished project or sell it ?
The thing is that I still want to build it.
I listed the servos , I got some good replies, but no offers yet. I am not concerned with the offer part. Don't need the money that bad (for now anyway).
Here are some pics of the servos.

    Thanks !

    To keep or to sell...

    Hello Friend.

You should tell us about the worm-gear boxes first.

Unless they are the anti-backlash type, sell them.

The drivers will keep for a few years, but like everything else electronic, they will have a very short life before they are deemed obsolete.
Were you thinking of a rack and pinion drive?
Think of the accumulative backlash error.

... This remind me, I have a couple of "3 axis Bandit (CNC) controllers" for sale.. Cheap! ...6 large stepping motors included. (2 with brakes.)
They came off from Bridgeport type milling machines.

    Regards,

    Stephen
