Steppers, drivers, electronics in the GTA?

I was thinking of ordering a package like this for my mini mill project, but I thought I should ask here first in case there is a warehouse for this kind of stuff in the GTA. Any help would be appreciated.

You may want to do some research on matching motors to drivers and power supplies. The 425 oz motors have a high inductance which requires a high voltage to get any speed. The 24 volt supply would not allow for very fast drives.

Thanks for that. The set I saw on the build your own CNC site listed a 36 volt power supply, so I was wondering about that as it is. I'm not necessarily buying the listed set, for now they don't even list Canada as a destination, though I think they want to ship here.

I checked that site, seems like a parallel universe. Nothing exactly for my project, except what looks like a good deal on some collets I am going to need.

I got my motors, drivers, power supply and breakout board from Motiontek.ca (311 oz/in stepper kit). I also got my ballscrews and bearing blocks from them.

When I ran into trouble, they helped me get my setup running. They're awesome! They're here in the GTA but they don't have a retail store.
