Info on the General CNC Machines

    Hi Everyone,
Looking at getting myself a CNC machine. I am looking at least a 4x8. Just wondering if anyone knows someone with a General. They are made in Canada out of Quebec. Any info would be great good or bad.
    Thanks
    Hype

Hi Hype the general cnc's that your talking about used to be made by Gorilla cnc out of London. I followed Gorilla cnc for a few yrs. at different wood shows here in Ontario, they seemed to be a nice machine with a user friendly software and a good support team. It was 2 maybe 3 yrs ago they teamed up with general which helped beef up the machine and i was so close to buying one, then Gorilla announced they were closing that general had bought them out. There seems to be some problems with one of the old owners of Gorilla trying to sell or service the General cnc's. Make sure your on General web site not one that sells General cnc's. Not sure if this helps you out at all
