Hello, my computer has no parallel port, may I use the serial ->parallel port adapter by using Mach3? Thank you!

I don't think you can use an adapter like that as a standard serial port has 9 pins an the parallel port has 25 and you need most of them.

I had the same problem as you, so I got a PCI parallel card. I initially got one made by syba, but it would not work. Then I got one by startech and it works just fine.

The only problem is that the "charge pump" does not work with this PCI card.
Based on what I've read, the charge pump doesnt work with any PCI card

you can use the db9 with deskcnc
