    camworks/haas

I just bought a haas vf 2 and was wondering if anyone knows how well the haas post processors that come with camworks work or if they need a lot of work?

    thanks

The posts for HAAS will work ok. You will need to fix some items though. If I remember correctly the tool change and or tool preset needs to be tailored. Also the end of the program that calls to send the machine to home needs help. I have working posts if you need them.

You should try the post anyway. It may/should work. I just suggest you go thru the code before tearing up any equipment. I originaly made the post in 2006 so like I said it should work. I modified it for someone else and compiled it with '08.
