| Camworks and Mill/Turn Hi, Anyone out there using Camworks for Mill/Turn stuff? I'm currently evaluating it but would like to hear real world experiences with it. How well does it handle twin spindles and part hand-off between them. Jay |

| This is a question better asked on the Teksoft forums page. You can access this thru www.teksoft.com. There is a tab for 'user forum'. The access is USERNAME: cwuser, PASSWORD: coolstuff. I use CAMWorks however I do not use the turn portion of the software. Good luck.

| mill/turn Hi, I am currently using camworks 2007 with a mill/turn but still fairly new at it. I am running a hardinge elite 8/51. I handle the transfer and cut-off with a subroutine controlled by variables...when the camworks reads a cutoff op. the code gen calls my subroutine. as always and with any cam software it's hard to get a good post. I have been e-mailing sample programs and parts back and forth with my reseller for about 3 months and still not right. they haven't been trying to blow me off yet and seem to be good at working on it. just gotta get the bugs out. good luck Ron |
