Hi there could someone help me if possible i have a part im making and been asked to try camworks with it (camworks 2011/Solidworks 2011) .
Problem is i run feature reconigtion and it has found pockets in the part but each pocket has an 3mm radius in the bottom of the pocket that it will not machine in for some reason?
How do i go about selecting these radius in botton or getting it to recongnize so i can machine with ballnose cutter.
It seems that camworks not seeing radius in bottom of pockets and radius around the edges on top of pocket profile is there a reason for this and anyone give me a solution.
We have a days training to take but when that is the company have to decide but im trying to get hands on before the training is done.
Thanks
jason

Hi Jason,
I hope you are doing well.
I believe the default database only see's "Bottom Radius" as a Rough strategy, but Feature Recognition see's it as a Rough/Finish. This can easily be controlled from the database. In the "Feature and Operation" section of the database there is a drop down named"Base Attributes".
In regards the top radius, this will not be found default by Feature Recondition, but you can insert that manually.
Best regards,
Lars
