    Which post should I use?

I have a Mag-Fadal VMC 4020-FX with a GE Fanuc Series oi-MC controller and can't seem to find a working post processor for use with CAMWorks.

I have tried the Fadal CNC 88 post, the FanucOIM post setup for a Dahlih MCV-720???, A "Fanuc Compatible" post which didn't work, and FAN_SEW "Generic" Fanuc which created some crazy looking code. I can't figure out what I'm supposed to be using...do I need to somehow edit one of the posts I have to correct for the problems in my code? The CNC 88 post gets me kind-of close to what I need but it requires a lot of tweaking to get it right. I can't waste time editing each NC file I produce like this.

I'll send a big fat cookie to anyone who can help me figure this out!

    Thanks,
    Andy

    Hi Andy,
I agree, hand edits should be avoided. Have you talked to your CAMWorks reseller? They should be able to give you some good guidance.

    Best regards,
    Lars

I'm waiting on my reseller now. So far they have sent the wrong post twice, now they have elevated my issue to a higher level tech support. It's been three days and I have parts waiting to be machined. I wish I had more of a background in programming, this part is so simple.
