    Hi laurits,
    The Sections tab->Section Categories=Rapid Moves->Section List=1st Rapid Z Down.

You want to be very careful when playing with posts. One wrong entry and you can have a machine crash. And then the only one to blame is yourself :-)
You might want to contact your CAMWorks reseller and have them assist you.

    Best regards,
    Lars

Just curious: What machine are you using and how does it call out a Tool Length Offset?

    Is a Heckler & Koch CNC BA22 Year88.

The tool length compensation is all done in the CNC controller. I just type in the tool length of all the tools . and the machine knows every time it's picks a new tool what the offset is..

Hope this makes sense. i'm pretty new at this stuff:-)

    Thanks

    hi,

we have also a Heckler and Koch but the AC 20 CNC with the 783/M controll.
    I use SheetCam.
At the begin i have used the minimum G-Code Post.
Now i have modified the post, so i can use pocketing functions from the 783
    controll
Sheetcam doesnt use G42 or G43, it computes the toolpaht
    on the given toolparameter.

    Best regards,

    Bernd

    what year is your machine?

My controller's name is also 783 (bwo) Now I use G41 G42 and it works really well with camworks. I have modified "HAAS" template a little bit. thanks to lars .. and now it begins to work:-)

    Thank laurits

    Hi laurits,

my machine is a Heckler&Koch AC 20 CNC and has the controller CNC 783/M.
It must be the same contoller as in your machine.
The controller has also G-Commands with only a view paramters for pocketing.
This is usefull because the little memory and the long load time for programms.
BWO has taken the machine sector from HECKLER&KOCH for a while.
Do you have also the NC400 servo controllers at your system ?
    Ups the year is 1985.

    best regards

    Bernd
