WHY NOT USE THE SUPPLIED MANUALS THAT COME WITH THE SOFTWARE OR USE THE IMBEDDED HELP FILES ?
have Anybody buy this handbook?? is it a good book to learn?? i have read the camworks manual but i follow have doubts....
Thanks you very much
Hey guys,
I wanted to give a little insight as to why I put this book out for the public. I started using CAMWorks as a user in a small machine shop. I used it everyday and learned a lot of things the normal "trial by fire" way. When I transitioned into a tech guy for a CAMWorks reseller, I started to create a manual for my classes to help the new users I taught. As I wrote the book, I decided that the book should be available for everyone that needs help, not just the people I directly work with. I agree the manuals that come with CAMWorks are a valuable learning tool and I reference them regularly. I also read the help file regularly to find answers to my questions. The point of the book is to have some lessons of "how to" and a to have a physical reference like the help file. I use the reference portion of the book like I do the Machinery's Handbook.
I hope this isn't taken as spam but rather my open thoughts on how the book was created. I didn't mean for the post to be an advertisement but rather a way to offer information to people that are looking for something extra.
If you do have any questions for me, you can contact me directly at info@camworksguide.com
Kind Regards,
Mike Buchli.
