Murphy That looks really good, nice job. What is the hoist for ?, if you do not mind me asking. If you turn the diagnostics screens off you will not see all that logic in the display window while actually running the machine. I believe with the diagnostics running it is a good debug tool to see what is actually happening in the back ground though to trace things down.

The hoist is for a pick and place operation.. Processing automotive parts. The diagnostics screen has to stay open for proper operation while in demo mode. When the machine moves, there are "saftey sub-routines" running that give it a time limit to complete an operation or it goes into an special "Crash" mode that shuts it down. (and shows the user my Crash Graphic) lol (I have to click the input on the dianostics screen) When operating in real life, the limit switch will turn itself on and off. Thanks for the compliment.. I did alot of work on it.. It will run for hours all by itself now ! ![]() Murphy

"Besides, my wife is a webmaster, graphics expert and photoshop god. I just tell her what I want and she makes it.. (Lucky eh? LOL)" Wow! She got a sister? Just kidding Murphy! Seriously though, how long to D-day when it's installed and all the client's engineers come to cast an eye on the fruits of your labour in operation for the first time? The whole project's looking good. Skippy Last edited by skippy; 04-08-2005 at 06:01 PM. Reason: addition

A couple more months until we are ready.. (assuming major challenges are kept to a minimum) I'd like to see the interfaces of others.. (I need something to compare to).. My wife is great and helps out with all kinds of details with this project. No sister ! LOL Murphy
