Hi all, I have still a little problem with my camsoft system, I have implemented a camsoft lite + servo 16000 card in a 2 axis oxifuel cutter and I still have a little trouble, when I decreased the feed by mean of the potenciometer to 0, because i want to stop the machine in the current position, a message appears then !!!!!!!!!"feed rate too slow"!!!!!!!!, then after few seconds machine starts moving again with a very small feedrate and don´t care anymore about the position of the potenciometer. Exactly the same happens if I execute a FEEDHOLD instruction, the same message and the same behavior. Does anyone knows what is happenning???????????????. Thanks beforhand everyone and congratulation for such a helpful forum. |

| I don't mean to pick on just you. I've seen several people reluctant to pay the maintenace agreement. Camsoft provides better support than I've seen on any other software package. If you have taken the time to investigate your issue as much as you can before contacting them, they will literally stand on their ear to solve your problem. Plus the maintenance includes software updates. All this for about $1.25 a day. Its not realistic to expect a small company to provide this level of service for free. You can probably solve the issue yourself. use classic problem solving approaches. Divide the problem in two, i.e. is it here or there. Keep dividing till you find it. In your case I would see if the problem is present in several differnent default .cbks. if it is, you have a harware issue, if not look to software. Just keep plugging away, you;ll find it with persistance. Karl Karl |
