I answered the question TRUE to save postion and then display on start up but it always comes up with some goofy numbers in X and Y when I start up my torch. It is not set up to go home on start up like a mill or lathe would do and I dont type in G54 to run a program, just set X and Y zero and start to cut. I want to mount a bridgeport mill head beside the torch carrage to pre drill bolt holes in large gussetts and shear tabs and drill the holes in G55 and torch in G54 the mill head will always be same distance from torch center, like 18" so it would be simple to set up cordinates. where in the CNC pro software are the work cordinates?, or how to make a button to toggle between them? Thanks The Farmer

The positions saved are the machine coordinates. You'll need to save your OFFSETs on each axis and re-apply them at startup. More than one way to do this, but I'd just use SAVEVARB to put your offset to hard drive whenever an offset is applied so your data is there. Then on startup just use READVARB. karl

G54 - G59 normally apply OFFSET 0 to 6 and can be seen and changed on the tool parameter screen. You could put a user button on the screen to call up any OFFSET you want. if I understand you want to put a part in, find your X0 and Y0 by edgefind or whatever means. Then have a second OFFSET automatically set for the other head. You'd just need a macro to calculate this. Karl
