| We just had our multicam router retrofit with camsoft cnc plus software. Now my y axis moves over a little each time I run a program. the generic manual tells me how to set the ratio number, but I don't have anything that measures with .0001" resolution. The best I can do is .0005". When I change the ratio number, it is between whole numbers. The y axis says 6244. When I change it to 6243 at ten inches it measures out at 9.998". when I change it to 6245 it measures out at 10.002", give or take .0005". when this machine was a multicam they said the machine resolution was 2540.0000 steps/in. Anyone have any ideas how I can get my axis to stop drifting? J.P. |

| I just read about this last month in their manual which I thought I had a drift problem but it was something else. QUESTION 164 Our machine is losing position. The more moves we make the more the position error accumulates. Bob |
