The Galil card is the hardware part of the Camsoft system, and it would depend on what type of Signal the Yaskawa drive accepts and wether it is compatible with the Galil card.
The most common are ±10v dc analogue.
The Galil cards are fitted in a PC slot, later type being PCI, you can either purchase your own or buy it with the Camsoft system.
If you want details of the card, see the www.Galilmc site.

I think I misunderstood your first post, I remember now the SMC-2000 is a stand-alone control system with a repackaged Galil card inside, I assume your question is can you use the card in a PC, I would think so if it is a standard PC slot configuration.

Does it look about like this Galil DMC-2000 contoller?
    http://galilmc.com/products/optima/dmc2000.html

I see it uses USB communication. In Camsoft's manual, they mention use of ethernet controllers not being as good as ones that go in a PC's slot, slower and more prone to EMF noise. But, appernetly acceptable to use with these limitations. I didn't see any mention of USB controllers.
