| My Servo Dynamics (BR-2550) amplifires require 120VAC 3 Phase. Does anybody know what kind of a transformer is needed? I've checked around and options are limited. (Make/Model?) I've contacted several vendors and they are just as confused as I am. I need 480VAC primary 3 phase to 120VAC secondary 3 phase. I thought about putting in a voltage regulator (SCR types are most popular) but the people at Servo Dynamics said there would be a noise issue. Suggestions anyone? |

| 120vac secondary is not that common, you could use two 480-120 single phase transformers (more common) to produce 120 three phase. Also There are a few manuf. that will custom make one. Al.

| I'll check into it Al. there was some confusion when I recieved the servo drive unit as to what the input voltage was. The wiring documentation called for 220 VAC. (The shunt can only handle 120-150VAC on this particular set up...Ouch!). Anyway, I recieved the correct wiring diagram today. I may opt to put in an isolated drive transformer. |
