Simple program

I have built and installed a 2 axis controller for a hydraulic hole punching machine. I am using a GALIL DMC1846, and CAMSOFT to program.

My problem comes in with operator writing part programs. The original software ( windows 95- obsolete motion board) was quite friendly. It had a mode that would simply draw a pic of the sheet, the the operator could simply pick punch shapes, and enter xy locations and it would draw, you could duplicate a hit pattern, mirror it, etc. I can't get CAMSOFT to allow shaped punches for drawing, maybe it's possible to write a VB interface for this. I would want to hire someone to do this.

I came accross a pretty good VB progammer. He whipped out the VB to Camsoft communication in just a couple hours. See this thread:

There would be custom work to do to the Camsoft .CBK also.
