The Camsoft manual recommends using a UPS connected to the PC.
Is this necessary? I would appreciate any opinions, responses etc.

I'm sure its a real good idea, but i haven't done it on any of my four machines, Cheap skate, i guess.

Im out in the country and have fluctuating voltage. The UPS keeps every thing constant and is also a surge protector that usually has a very large insurance policy with it if damage occurs to your PC. I have one on every PC that I own. My 2 cents
