| Building a new machine to flip green house plants in their container upside down. Have to use a stainless steel food grade servo. found one on Baldor web site. Sales man could not understand why I wanted an encoder instead of a resolver. What is the difference in encoder and resolver? the 2 options of encoder are 1000 and 2500 PPR. does this mean with quadature you get 4000 and 10000 for accuracy? Thank You The Farmer |

This is posted in the Camsoft forum and they use Galil, which will use 5v differential encoder. Galil multiply the quadrature pulses x 4. Al.
