Can I see your G83 in Gcode.fil?
It very likely calls a macro in macro.fil, maybe[[G83]], can i see that too?
Karl
When I post the G-Code from VisualMill there are at times a few redundant values in the G-Code , most controllers just pass it through no problem the CamSoft CNC Plus gives me a segment to short error ,can this be fixed somehow.
EXE . G83 X0. Y0. Z-1. R0.1 Q0.1 F5.
G00 Z0.1 ----- ERROR:SEGMENT TO SHORT (rapid plane Z is same as R value)
I know I can fix most of this in the posting of the G-Code but sometimes I forget and it gets real anoying to deal with.

I have attached the entire .cbk file ( I just changed .cbk to .txt to upload it) . The proble happens often when sprial pocket cutting and when ramping into pockets the G83 was just a quick example.

The message (rapid plane Z is same as R value) is letting you know the rapid move G00 Z0.1 is the same as the R0.1 value in the G83 canned cycle on the line before. Z would not move. It's only a message. The message has been removed many years ago in CNC Lite. Your system is 9 1/2 years old.
No need for this line G00 Z0.1
The R0.1 (rapid clearance plane) in the G83 canned cycle rapids to the same place.
You may either delete this line or else use a slightly higher Z to rapid too to be safe.

Sorry, I was gone a while...
I am a CNC Pro user. Could have easily trapped this error in Pro. Looks like the fine techs at Camsoft have your only answer for Lite.
