    Default CamBam UK forum

Sorry to post this here but I have no other way to try and get the attention of the admin for the CamBam UK forum. (Not this forum on CNCZone)

I registered nearly a week ago and still have not been approved. I did get the "Welcome to" email after registering but still
waiting for admin approval to post etc.

How long does this usually take?

    Thanks,
    Bruce

Everything about CAMBAM rests on one very talented and pleasant guy.

    Be patient, its worth it.

Wow, why do they even have the registration control on their forums? What can they possibly be checking?? I am waiting for some assistance for the software, and I won't be buying it until I can sort out the issue otherwise it is useless to me. They're putting people off.

Only one person writes CAMBAM and runs the site, and it is his, and, he can do what he pleases.

I went through all the posts on the CAMBAM site and did not find anyone posting with the name "JoeyJoe".

As for Andy's behaviour putting people off: Doubtful. CAMBAM is a unique product and has a great forum with many long term and extremely competent contributors.

After five years of using CAMBAM, and both contributing help to and receiving help from the forum, and having emailed Andy a few times, there never has been any issue that would make me come to the conclusion you have.

Though I will be the first to admit that CAMBAM takes effort to understand and use, but the effort taken to do so pays off nicely. Also, last minute desperate and demanding postings are not the best way to obtain assistance.

Zool, any chance you might be able to answer my question about Cambam? I really wanted to post to the Forum at cambam but can't get registered either?

I've got stuck with trying to set up a workflow for 3d profiling where i want to use one tool for roughing out and then another for finishing.. But i right now, my machine just spends a lot of time driving tools through space.
