I'm on vacation and not in the shop, so I can't double check this, but I believe that if you set the tool diameter to 0 while using the profile command it will cut on the line instead of inside or outside.
Check it out and see if that helps.
Hello,
I am new to the CNC and thought I would try CamBam to see if it is what I need to convert DXF to code. I have loaded a DXF file into CamBam and have been setting up to cut some slots but I have encountered some problems which has me puzzled. I have set up quite a few slots using the "profile" button and set the cut to be on the inside of the drawing line, which shows up in the 3d view perfectly. However, when I set other slots of the same size to be cut in the same fashion, it shows cutting on the outside of the line when it's set to inside. For example, I have 10 slots that all need to be cut the same length in different directions through the same 3/4 sheet of material. I combined the setup so I wouldn't have to do each individually, and half of them show cutting inside while the other half show cutting outside. I want them all to cut inside the line. What am I doing wrong? I have even tried to set them up individually but it still shows cutting outside with the inside button checked. Can someone offer some advice please?
Thank you in advance.

If you have any question about CamBam post it on the CB site:CamBam - Index there is lots of guys who are willing to help.
I would suggest for you to check your drawing for open line somewhere. It's likely culprit.

Have you joined the line segments? If it's a collection of lines that aren't joined CAMBAM can't always work out what is inside and what is outside. But when they're joined together it's predictable.
CTRL-J joins selected lines into a polyline.
