Hi Andy

I've just updated 9.8e to 9.8h and all my styles have disappeared. I get errors on startup.
First one is "Unknown Property DepthRelativeTo"
Second is "Error Reading File .....users\app data\...etc......Standard-mm.xml

The file is there and is 6KB in size. There are also .b1 .b2 and .b3 versions of the same xml file.
As a result my styles are all gone.
Is there an easy way to fix this?

I just deleted the line with the depthrelativeto tag from the XML file and all errors are gone.

Hello Dougal,

The DepthRelativeTo property was removed in 0.9.8f ... it wasn't really supported in 0.9.7 hence it's removal.

To get your style file working again, open the .xml file in a text editor such as wordpad or notepad, then search for and delete any text that matches...

<DepthRelativeTo>...</DepthRelativeTo>
The '...' bit will most likely be StockSurface but remove any occurrences of that pattern to be sure.

The problem should only happen when DepthRelativeTo was set to anything other than Absolute.

So I am very sorry about that. If you have any problems fixing your style file, please upload or email it to me and I fill fix it for you.
