    Ordering of Multiple Pockets

If I want to cut multiple pockets in a part, how can I stop CAMBAM from jumping between them?

If I set "level first" it cuts the same level in each pocket, then the next level in each pocket etc.
If I set depth first it drills down to the final level on one pocket, works outwards then does the rest.

What I'd like it to do is level down and complete one pocket before moving onto the next. I can acheive this through setting up multiple machining operations (one for each pocket), but is there an easier way?

    Hello Dougal,

Which version of CamBam are you using?

The last couple of releases of 0.9.8 have had changes and bug fixes regarding this so you should try the latest 0.9.8g release.

Another feature in 0.9.8 that is helpful is the toolpath filter. If you Select View - Toolpath Filter (or Ctrl+F). The attached screenshot shows some useful settings. If you put the cursor in the Toolpath Index value you can scroll this up and down with with arrow keys or mouse wheel. This will then highlight the toolpaths in the order they will be cut.
This gives you a quick feedback on whether the resulting toolpath will do as you want without needing to simulate or air cut the file.

I hope this helps. If the toolpath order is still not as you expect, please let me know and I'll investigate.
