Safe Z in cambam but not in mach3

I set my surface a 0 and I set my safe z at .125, but when I post the gcode and open in mach3, instead of seeing a rapid I see a tool path.
I checked the gcode and it reads G0 Z.080.
I edited the gcode right from Mach3 and changed the line to G0 Z.125 and saved. I then regenerated the tool path and the line was still blue and not a red dotted line.
The work piece has a total of 5 pockets , the pockets all have the same attributes and they all work correctly except for this one.
Has anybody else ever had this problem?

Buy me a Beer?

Have you changed the color of your rapids? Check in Config>Toolpath.

No , I don't think so but I will check.
Is that in cambam or in Mach3 ?
I dont even see rapids(from pocket to pocket) on the cambam screen, I only see red rapids within the pockets.

One other thing is that I ran a test piece of wood and my machine did actually cut -.080 where I was hoping to just have a rapid movement at .125.
That is what alerted me to the problem in the first place.
Before the test I guess I did not inspect the tool path closely enough.

Nope, didn't change color.
All of the tool paths in cambam are red. The offending tool path does not show up in cambam, only in mach3. Even after editing the gcode in mach3 to a rediculously high safe Z and saving/regen, it will not go away.

Problem solved

Well I got rid of the unwanted tool path after trying every conceivable setting adjustment. In optimization I tried standard/normal and even experimental. I edited the gcode in Mach3, I changed the cutting order in cambam and none of that worked. I downloaded cutviewer and saw that the parasite tool path was being generated before the file ever made it into Mach3. It was happening from the "generate g code" from Cambam.
In the end I just deleted the offending pocket and rebuilt it from scratch.
I do have a convoluted rapid layout, but at least it is clearing the work surface.

If you're sure that CamBam is putting out the wrong code then it would be a great help if you could post the .cb file over at the CamBam website. Andy (10bulls) likes to stay on top of things like this and if you've overlooked something, someone's sure to show you where things aren't quite right.

Martin.
