Newbie- transfering files

Dear Gentelmen

Newbie here....My Fireball V90 with Mach3 runs great with the canned programs on Mach3, but my lack of computer skills are killing my advance beyond that.


Consider as an example the CamBam tutorial to create the NEMA motor mount. I realize that I am not doing something correctly at the point where I press the buttons to create a tool path, then g code, but I don't know what it is.

I transfer my .nc code to the Mach3 gcode file. I receive the following messages when I load this .nc file on to Mach3:

1) Status line reads, Bad Character usedLine0

and the display window doesn't look anything like gcode and when I select "Files of type" I receive the same message. Any and all advice sincerely appreciated..
