Ventrillo anyone?

The other day I set up a ventrilo server for the camheads.
Let me explain what ventrilo is and how to use it, for those of you that are unfamiliar with the ventrilo program.
Ventrilo is a proprietary Voice over Internet Protocol program with clients for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X. Most users of Ventrilo use a headset or microphone and use the program to talk to each other, similar to a telephone conference call.

The short explanation is you can have crystal clear conversations across the globe with several people at once or as few as two people.

The server I set up will allow up to 15 people at once
It is free for you to use
The program is easy to download and is free as well

Down load from the client list as you will not be hosting a server and will not need the extra files in your computer.
It is simple to set up but if you have problems you can call me at 317-353-4905 and I will walk you through the set up processes.
the information you will need to log in is as follows
Host: chromium.typefrag.com
Port: 53937
Password: Camaster
You will need a head phones and a microphone to use the program, it is best to get a headset with both, as this will allow you to have your hands free.
My hope is this will enable us to help each other with problems and questions in real time, and mabey kick around a few ideas.
I hope to meet as many Camheads,creekers and cnczone members there as I can. I will try to be on evenings between 8 to 9 Eastern Time.
But I may be on at other times as well. I use this system to talk to people all over the world, feel free to share the server information with friends or loved ones and use it to stay in touch. It would be great to talk to friends or family in the service overseas.

james, it took me a bit to get up to speed with ventrillo but i was impressed!!!

to those, last night james and i were able to speak clearly while using our computers to begin to check an issue with his router, i can see the reason for this now!!

Vent is great for online murder sessions, I mean gaming clearer than TS with some great codecs.

Although the voice activation is a tad too much when someone has a cold!
