cabinet pro tommorrow in am sold my 20/20 today and can spend that on new software, robert is now got the bug and is looking for a laptop for writing files at home

Jim I am having issues with my demo version of Win CNC. I sent you some files to see if they work on a working machine.

if anyone wants the .tap files for these to try I can send them to you.

I'm not 100% sure about all the different settings when I am applying the tool paths to these. tell me if the tools, plunge rate, cut depth, spindel RPM, feed rates are about right. If I am off on these settings let me know. I can sent the v carve file also so you can adjust the feed rates and such.

I will learn more once I have my machine here and I can see what it does in real life. now I am just running simulations.

anyone know how to get good wood grain textures? I seem to only get rocks>>>or something that resembles rocks

Those are both great sites but what I was wondering is there a Plug-in or add on for V0Carve that I can import textures like wood grain into it? those companies make boards they don't sell there texture files.


I have been playing around with the texture tool in v-carve but can't seem to do much with it.

way back on the excitech thread there was i believe a post from (might be) gerry about the texturing, in the v carve help file there is a section way down at the bottom jim

The signs look good i know bill does not care and i would like to have a copy of the code.
