edge finder

hi,
i am trying to rigg up somthing for finding edge i have a probe i took ans soldered a wire to it and it goes in my end mill holder and hooked it to 5v then took a clip that hooks to my work piece and it is hooked to pin 12 on bob right now i just have it were it triggers a estop when it touches how do i make stop when it touches with out triggering e stop thans ben

What controller are you using? Mach, TuboCnc, ???

Then somebody might be able to give a little more direction.

OK, somebody who knows (maybe Hoss or others) Mach can lead you through the setup. I think he has a video on how to do it. I don't use Mach so don't want to mislead you! Good luck as this is a very handy tool to have in your box.
