Inspection reports

Is there a website I can go to that will explane how to setup an inspection report? Are there any sample inspection reports available? Can anyone help with how to setup an inspection department? Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi there,

I suppose on what type of company you work for depends on your requirements.

We are a sub contract CNC mill/turn shop working for Formula 1 motorsport, and British touring cars.

The main reports required in an inspection dept that we run are:

* 1st off critical dimension report
* Final inspection report
* Non conformance report
* Concession report

Setting up an Inspection department requires knowing what inspection equipment is needed, and putting in place the revalvent forms and folders.

I use a lot of excel documents to monitor NCR's and concession etc etc.

It totally depends of how critical quality is required within the company as to how in depth you need documents controlled.

When you mention the inspection report i take you need the dimension report?
