    Still love Cadkey

Is there a modern (current) cad program that is similar to Cadkey in style (menu sequences, positioning, etc.). I do have AutoCAD 2000 and TurboCAD, but still find that I am a LOT faster in Cadkey, simply because of the many years I've used it.

    Cadkey is still alive!

Cadkey was bought out by Kubotek of Japan but is still developed in Massachusetts and is now called KeyCreator. You can set it up to look just like the old Cadkey (even with the F keys if you want) but it’s a much, much better program now.

You can download a free 30 day trial here:

I’ve been using Cadkey, now KeyCreator since the 80’s. Great program. I used Solid Edge for a few years, a good program but not as fast a KeyCreator. KeyCreator is on the verge of releasing a 64 bit version, can’t wait.

    KeyCreator is thriving

Yes - we are on the verge of 64bit and some other really great new dynamic tools have been added... and a few surprises. If you liked CADKEY, you are going to love KeyCreator.
