CK97R2 radius dimensioning bug?

Greetings,

CK97R2 on W98 Pro (on VM Ware Fusion on an Intel McBook Pro):

• attempting to dimension bend radii according to CK97 tutorial, the leader lines are positioned entirely incorrectly

Tried is several times and several ways. Can't get it to work.

I DO get a bunch of CK Solids errors/warnings when I launch.

Anyone have any ideas?

It’s been too long since Cadkey 97 but from what I recall there was problems with Radius dimensions that were fixed in later versions. I recall having to label radiuses as a workaround. Solid errors were very common in those days. While Cadkey was ahead of its time in those days, it still had serious problems with solids and was not considered a serious solid modeler. We only did wireframe because of the problems. There was add-ons like Draft Pak, Fast Surf that made it very productive. Save often under different names and seriously consider moving up if you can. The current KeyCreator is fantastic, it blows Solidworks away in every category including price

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping someone was still paying attention to Cadkey!

I tried dimensioning a radius on a fresh part file, and it worked. There is apparently something about the tutorial part it doesn't like, maybe the view, the construction plane, or something. I can live without it, I don't imagine I will need dimensioned drawings for what I'm doing.

I'm now pretty sure I only see this bug if I'm in layout mode, which, unfortunately, is probably where you need the feature.
