    PROJECT HUSKY TWIN 200cc inline

Thought I'd post this hear too
I started this project nearly 20 yrs ago and first time around didn't do so well. But It flew a number of times and broke 180mph on a 1/4 semi scale P-51 reno style racer. The first rendition was just the chain saw cases tied together with a mounting system, but the vibration loosened the bolts and required retightening every flight, real PITA ! Then, it got dammaged on a rough landing.
I made the cases using my cnc IH mill along with some other parts using lathe too. Drive hub, timing hub, carb mounts (micarda), drive bolts, case bolts, mounting plate.
The cranks were welded and machined this time for a better unit and tied together with a key'd connecter that I also made. The eng fires @ 180 deg's for a smoother power pulse.
It will spin a 24x24 racing prop and hopefully break the 200 mph mark. It should be somewhere in the 16 hp bracket, but we're guessing !
the new plane will be ready soon and the motor will be ready to test run in a week or so.

Awesome package! Looks like what the 3d flying crowd would drool for.
