Sweet work man!!!
Don't spose you have any video of it running ?
Russell.
Couple of photos of 25cc water cooled, glow ignition, 4 cylinder that I finished about 12 months ago. Engine will live in 39inch hull of a Chris Craft Rivierra that I am also building. Fuel is methanol at about 5% castor and runs up above 10,000rpm no trouble.
Other casting is the start of 60cc V8. Will be run on unleaded. Plan for electronic spark ignition with advance retard, oil pump in sump, valley cam. Another is being built here with twin o'head cams.

I see from your profile you are in Brissie, if it is OK with you next time I am down that way I would like to have a look at your engines if at all possible. I probably won't be there for a good 6-12 months, but no harm in asking.
I would like to make a multi cylinder 4-stroke to fit to a scale model of a Spitfire, I just can't bring myself to install a 2-stroke engine to a flying model like that, if only for the sound of the engine running. I have seen the scale Merlin engine running, though that is a little out of my league.
Cheers
Russell.
Very cool to see one of those small motors actually running something, instead of just mounted to a stand.

Harrrdcore!
Why is the head divided into, like, 2 or 3 main pieces? Or am i blind?
I don't think you are blind. I may be out of touch but would it have internal coolant passages milled in the centre section. That would be one way for cooling the head.

Hi Bluejets
Just seen your pic of V8 block casting, looks interesting. I have recently bought a Syil X3 CNC mill and thinking of bulding a 1/4 size V8. Are you designing the V8, or building to published drawings, could you help with info?
I built a 1/4 size Bently nine cylinder rotory areo engine a few years ago, am hungry for more punisment.
Regards
Mike
