the straw that caused the camel to go cnc...

yeah, ok, so i didnt make it. im making bits for it

this is an el dodgy 50cc engine intended for bicycles.

a gutless POS with typical docile porting and a lousy exhaust.

so i made a tuned pipe. that helped. did some porting. also beneficial.

then i got silly, bought a second engine(i relied on at least one to run ) and started chopping the intention is to fit reed valves, which have certain advantages.... i may be wasting my time on this one though

the cylinder and block attached to it, i made in the bad old days of BC. manual. i think i did quite well i only stuffed one cylinder and three bits of ali, and the pockets sorta slightly off centre. took me maybe three straight days...

then a brief(long) hiatus while i converted the lil x2.

the second piece is with the CNC... getting my head around initial offsets, using programs blah blah, a day. actual machining time...about 2 hours. my first cnc project, my first real use of cnc, and um...yeah....nice learning curve
