    Thanks for the link Al. I guess even if you aren't into scale engine building you can still admire the skill that goes into it. I try hard to see whats the deal with scale engines, but just cat get it.

    I recon this guy has a good site for displaying CNC skill too. Again, guns are not my interest, but at least they have a function, unlike the engines

    That engine is definitely a work of art, a masterpiece in it's own right. I would love to see it run, too bad it's on the other side of the pond.
    If it's not nailed down, it's mine.
    If I can pry it loose, it's not nailed down.

    Unbelievable truly, alot of work and i personally can not think of a better way to spend my retirement then having a project even close to that, look at the detail and work needed. Very neat.

    pretty humbling to see work of that quality and complexity, I confess i didn't know what a deltic engine was - 18 cylinders and 36 pistons!! thats gotta be the best looking "bar stock" engine i've ever seen! thanks for the very interesting link -
