V2XT RS232 pinouts needed

Can anyone help with the pinouts and also the baud rate,parity,stop bit, etc for a V2XT? Just trying to communicate with this machine for the first time.

Attached is a file from the EZCAM 6 manual that addresses communications with all the Bridgeports made at that time.

Did not go through. It is twice as big as allowed by this forum.

It is uploaded to the V2XT users group at Yahoo.

I saw your other reference to the yahoo group, I tried the link but it didn't find it. I also tried a general search for "v2xt" from the yahoo search page and couldn't find it. I will try it again.........really want to see that file.

We are communicating directly with Hyperterminal and RS232. We are not going directly from the CAM software, but at this point just saving the posted gcode into a text file, then sending that text file to the machine via RS232.

After some trial and error, we were able to get the communication working. But I still need to see your attachment, as that will help me with the BOSS5.

Now - I think todays project will be getting the RS232 working on our 2 axis EZ Trak, that one has a fail to communicate message. Here we go again.

This is the link in my favorites that I use to get to the group.

The BOSS 5 should communicate no problem. You need the right pin out as the same plug supports 20 milli amp current loop and RS232, and you need to unplug the large rectangular plug on the ERS board and let it dangle.

The EZtrak manual has a section on cable configuration and communication.
