    Ez Trak DXII

    I have 2 dxII machines one is one of the earlier machines and the other a little yunger lol but my problem is this they have both stopped going back the operater zeros in the morning when I start up.Doesnt allways happen but more times than not . checked all the encoders for slippage didnt find anything that just jump out at me!

    All axis or a specific axis?
    How much does it shift? One revolution of the motor?
    If a marker pulse, used for homing, coincides with the home switch, variations in temperature can make home vary .100 inches as the switch may make just before or just after the switch.

    Its , with the backlash almost .100 in all directions ?Variations in temp?

    OK been way to busy running parts to reply in a timely manner. Its x and y and I now understand what you ment by temprature change after reading your message more carefully. so if its a marker pulse , how do I correct it ?

    Move home trip dog .03 inches so it is seen sooner.
