We have a Bridgeport / Romi EZ path 1 that has been sat idle for 2 years, I replaced the CMOS battery and the bmdc software now loads. Trying to home the machine triggers an Alarm; "following error limit exceeded". Does anybody have any ideas what could be causing this? Last edited by qtech; 01-14-2010 at 11:14 AM. |

| you have an error greater than like .005 I think it is between the requested move and the reported distance. could be an encoder, cable or amplifier. Does the X axis home ok? or does it alarm out shortly after you hit the + do move key for homing? Tim |
