Hello I have a BP Interact 412 w/ Fanuc 0-Mate MF contorl. It seems that BP has locked out the ability to view the ladder diagram. When I try to veiw the ladder all that is displayed, "DISPLAYING A LADDER DIAGRAM IS PROTECTED BY IT SELF". I have tried to toggle Par# 60.3 with the only effect is no display of the above message. Anyone have some ideas? |

| Could be. I thought it was parameter 60 bit 1. I can call Fanuc tomorrow. George

| I have read about some "keep relays" using the zero bit in the D300's. I was able to change the function of M30 via D0351.0. I whould run a program and it whould set on M30 and wait for me to manually reset. Changing this bit to 1 it now resets to the head of the program after reading M30. I was thinking that this may be true for veiwing of the ladder. They must have access to for trouble shooting. It seems that this had to be known by the service tech's and whould be eazy for them to turn on an off. |

| I see absolutely no sense in locking ladder access out on a Fanuc it is not like the ladder can be edited on line like you can on a Mitsubishi controller for example. Its an invaluable trouble shooting tool. If anyone wants to copy the ladder then presumably they have the development software and can copy it anyway off eprom. Al.

| I was just on a EUROTECH lathe which not only had the ladders password protected but all the IO are in Italian. I am told the ladders are in Italian too. George

| Current setting for Parameter 60=00000101. Bit 3 toggles between 1=14" diagnose screen, 0=9" diagnose screen. With bit 2 changed to zero the only result was that by pressing the PAR/DGN button toggles between Parameters and Diagnostic only. I changed bit 0 =0 with no apparent result. |
