Need Help!- bridgeport series1 cnc

Hi Guys....do you know which cam program can generate codes which are
compatible with that machine (boss4)..
I tried deskcnc trial..it works ok BUT has a problem with the arcs..
before converting the cad drawing to gcodes I must make sure that an arc
most notcross a quadrant..what i mean is; let say an arc spans 180 degrees..
in my drawing i must draw two 90 degrees arcs..
It finishes by beeing a pain in the but.. Thanks

Look at onecnc they have a free dnc program called nclink register on their site and it's free http://www.onecnc.net/general/dnc_request.htm hope this helps.

I would have to look in my manual but you might need to give a G75G90 comand to do a multiqudrant arc Bob cad has a post for all the old Boss machines also and you can change the setup to post in multi or single Qud. Good luck Kevin
